Palworld Hit 40 Million Players—and Chose Not to Raise Its Price

After attracting more than 40 million players during two and a half years in early access, Palworld officially released Version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. A milestone that large would normally give a gaming company the perfect excuse to increase the price. Pocketpair chose another path.

The developer announced that Palworld would remain $29.99, describing the decision as a small way to thank the millions of Pal Tamers who supported the game. In an industry filled with deluxe editions, premium upgrades, subscriptions, and add-ons, simply keeping the price unchanged feels almost rebellious.

Players clearly appreciated the gesture. Following the Version 1.0 launch, Palworld climbed above 855,000 concurrent Steam players, marking one of the game’s biggest peaks since its original early-access debut.

The colorful creatures, open-world exploration, base building, survival gameplay, and multiplayer freedom have attracted gamers of every kind. The game allows players to collect Pals, build the perfect base, defeat bosses, explore new areas, and spend hours working together with friends.

The developers get it: gaming with friends can turn an ordinary day into a much better one—especially without a price increase, microtransactions, or additional costs. It is simply the fun of playing, leveling up, discovering something new, and achieving something together.

Our Today’s Good Mood Is Sponsored by Gaming shirt echoes that spirit. Sometimes gaming is all it takes to make a good day even better. This funny gaming shirt makes a great gift for gamers, gamer girls, gamer moms, Palworld players, survival-game fans, and women whose best moods usually begin when the game loads.
